A Beautifully Restored Tudor Home in Birmingham, Alabama
On a winter evening in 2013, a lighting strike ignited a terrifying fire in Patty B. Driscoll’s home. The artist and founder of Agatha Studio spared no time rebuilding, and today welcomes Homeworthy into her marvelous Birmingham abode. Patty B. restored the Tudor Revival, which was originally built in the 1920’s, by taking cues from its historic architectural details and updating spaces that fuse old soulful design with timeless style. A maximalist at heart and lover of textiles, Patty B’s home is dotted with the most amazing patterns and prints. Inside you’ll find stunning linens and antiques that Patty B. has inherited from the generations before her, as well as her own original artwork inspired by women and nature. Enjoy!
