As the summer months kick into high gear, we can’t help but dream about all the al fresco dinner parties and luncheons we plan to throw at home. Influencer Morgan Werner Massarelli (@morganwernermassarelli) proved a little effort goes a long way when it comes to a backyard tablescape.
In her video, which received nearly 6.5 million views, she began with the basics – something we likely all have laying in our sheds: folding tables.
To seat a large party, she lined up two rectangular plastic tables to create one long banquet. She then dressed it up with a plush, cream-colored tablecloth that covered the top and legs completely so that the black plastic would be undetected. Adding a playful touch, she threw a striped and skirted smaller tabecloth on top and began dressing her table with the necessities.
Morgan opted for matching cloth placemats, white scalloped plates with a floral linen napkin sitting atop each, acrylic glasses, and bamboo silverware. As for the centerpiece, she lined the table with small wireless lamps and large white vases holding blooming flowers.
A must-have on our shopping list? Her folding bamboo chairs that can be stowed away and brought out for any indoor or outdoor get together.
