It may not feel like summer’s close is on its way, but alas, all good things must end at some point. That said, what’s on the other side of summer is hardly worth lamenting over because fall is arguably the best season of them all, and we are gearing up in a big way—especially in our homes. No, we aren’t replacing all of the furniture and buying all new decor, but we are making a few seasonal swaps that make cozy season welcome throughout our walls.

We’d suggest approaching the transition of your home for a new season the same way you would decorating for a holiday: Go big on a nook, avoid all things cheesy, and buy only products that actually make you happy. So, with fall on its way, we’re focusing on fuzzy textures, earth tones, and organic materials, which, admittedly, work in any season, but there’s something about a raw wood that feels ultra autumnal. So, as temperatures slowly start to drop, now is the best time to invest in a few pieces that read particularly cozy. Ahead, we’re sharing all of our favorite finds for every room of the house, including the bedroom, the dining room, the office, the living room, and even the powder room.

Bedroom: Layer Down, Chinoiserie, and Warm Textures

The bedroom should always be the coziest room in the house, regardless of the season, but investing in that cozy vibe is most pertinent when fall rolls around. Enjoying your morning coffee in a not-yet-made bed with the down-filled duvet pulled up to your waist is definitely the move over taking slow sips from your kitchen counter.
