As important as furniture, wallpaper, and rugs may be, more often than not, the tiny details are what make a room feel collected and luxurious. Case in point: hardware. Yes, you read that right: A tiny, often overlooked detail, can make or break a room. So, if you’re looking around your kitchen, powder room, or any other space with hardware and are wondering how to give it the overhaul it needs, look no further. Signature Hardware is perhaps the only destination worthy of such a facelift.
Signature Hardware is based in Kentucky and offers everything from bathroom vanities and faucets to decorative knobs and pulls. The brand draws inspiration from history, art, and cultures around the world, so you won’t find many trends on offer; only the most timeless and elegant alternatives. What’s more, it’s no coincidence that Signature Hardware appears subtly in so many Homeworthy episodes. Our hosts may be varied in their style, but one thing they all have in common is excellent taste.
Take, for instance, Traci Connell, whose Dallas home features the brand’s beloved pieces in her primary bathroom. Before she renovated and redesigned it, the bathroom dated back to the early 2000s, and its age was quite clear—not in a good way. It featured brown tile, low vanities, a tiny shower, and builder-grade finishes. Traci set out to create a more elevated, relaxing retreat by way of elegant marble, painted cabinetry, aged brass fixtures, custom mirrors, layered lighting, and a few unexpected luxuries. That’s where Signature Hardware comes in.
“One thing I’m really excited about is that we’re using Signature Hardware for all the plumbing fixtures and the cabinet hardware. I thought I wanted unlacquered brass, but the more I thought about how it ages naturally, I started reconsidering,” says Connell. “This is the Greyfield collection, which actually was a springboard for everything else in here, from the robe hooks to the interior of the shower.”
You’ll also find some Signature Hardware beauties in Alez Hazat‘s new home. Her family’s original home tragically burned down in the 2025 California fires. “This is the story of how we’re designing our way back. Together with my family, we’re rebuilding one of the first homes in our neighborhood to rise again. We’ll transform this empty lot into a home full of heart and hope,” she notes.
One of the first rooms she designed was her powder room, which features more than a few pieces from Signature Hardware. “We got this really beautiful polished nickel Signature Hardware vanity and skirted it around the bottom so that you can’t really see the plumbing, because it wasn’t in the position that we wanted it to be,” she says. We had to get a little creative because of the shape of the sink. We decided to follow the bottom rail and had these really cute pinch-pleat café curtains made for the bottom. I think it came out really cute.”
For James Dolnec and Thomas Riker’s farmhouse is in southwest Michigan, the Signature Hardware pieces were a bit more sentimental. “The little medicine cabinet was in my grandfather’s office. He was a doctor, and we’ve always used it as a little bar,” says Riker. “We recently replaced the hardware because the knobs were falling apart, and we searched quite high and low for really good hardware that had a great patina and character, something that didn’t feel new.” Then, they found these great knobs from Signature Hardware, which complement the piece beautifully.
