The 48th Annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House: A Barbie Y2K Dream Bedroom
With the new Barbie movie coming out this year, we discover a real Barbie inspired bedroom designed by Sasha Bikoff for the amazing River Mansion on New York City's Upper West Side. Once red and covered in yellow fabric, Sasha reincarnated the space into a her dream Y2K teenage bedroom. It's Barbiecore at its finest! A clamshell bed, reminiscent of The Little Mermaid, takes center stage and is balanced by pearl sconces against a backdrop of pastel and cloud-inspired wallpaper. A Hollywood glam station coated in pink onyx feeds into Sasha’s vision of a fantasy world. Enjoy!
