A Cozy 1700s Farmhouse in Coastal Maine
Interior designer Nicola Manganello welcomes us inside her beautiful home, lovingly called Meeting Hill Farm, in Yarmouth, Maine.
Over the years, Nicola’s 1760’s colonial-style farmhouse he home has undergone three major renovations, with Nicola’s most recent updates focused on enhancing continuity, brightness, and livability while preserving its historic charm.
With its beautifully restored woodwork, layered textiles, and thoughtful color palette, Meeting Hill Farm is a stunning example of how a centuries-old home can feel both timeless and livable. Nicola shares how she brought cohesion and light to the home, balancing its historic character with a transitional palette of soft beiges, accented by her signature muted pinks and blues.
She also gives us a peek inside her delightful guest house, which once served as a barber shop before Nicola and her family relocated it to the property. Now, it’s a charming and functional space where her daughter lives, seamlessly blending with the character of the main house. Later, Nicola brings us to her barn that she completely transformed into a gorgeous office space. Enjoy!
