Inspired by James Whistler’s famed Peacock Room, Wolf reimagines Gilded Age opulence through a modern lens. The space unfolds in a palette of deep teal blue, sleek chrome, and warm wood tones — a balance of sophistication and restraint. Throughout, global treasures mingle with mid-century pieces: stainless steel Chinese chairs, a French fire screen, Redouté botanical engravings, and Indonesian ceramics displayed like artifacts from a worldly collector’s trove.
The result is a captivating fusion of eras and influences — a serene, artful escape that feels both timeless and entirely new.
The Kips Bay Decorator Show House in New York City is an annual design event where top interior designers transform a luxury Manhattan residence into a stunning showcase of creativity. Founded in 1973, it serves as the signature fundraiser for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, with all proceeds supporting after-school and enrichment programs for thousands of children in the Bronx and beyond.
