A Parisian-Inspired Townhouse with Modern Sophistication
Interior designer Vanessa DeLeon welcomes us into her stunning Edgewater, New Jersey, home—a breathtaking blend of Parisian elegance and modern sophistication. Nestled against a serene woodland backdrop with sweeping views of the New York City skyline, Vanessa’s home is a study in contrasts and carefully curated design.
She has thoughtfully divided the space into two distinct worlds: The main residence is infused with French-inspired grandeur, featuring intricate decorative moldings, Italian fireplaces, and a dramatic palette of black and copper. Luxurious velour fabrics, shimmering crystal chandeliers, and striking artwork adorn every room, creating an atmosphere of opulence. Meanwhile, her office on the other side of the house exudes sleek, modern minimalism, proving that high style can also mean high function.
Throughout the home, Vanessa surprises and delights with unexpected design moments—think large sculptural stones, hidden powder rooms, and elements that seamlessly marry form and function. While every space is undeniably glamorous, she designs with real life in mind, ensuring her young family can live comfortably amidst the beauty.
