An Eclectic, Globally-Inspired Home with A Soothing Palette
Interior designer Meg Rodgers’ eclectic Philadelphia home blends vintage finds, bold accents, and fine woodworking into a warm, expansive space with stunning city views.
What began as multiple units has been seamlessly transformed into an open, light-filled sanctuary with breathtaking city views over the last thirty years. With a background in woodworking, Meg has infused her home with an appreciation for fine details, creating a harmonious balance of craftsmanship and style. The neutral, soothing color palette is punctuated by bold, unexpected moments—like the striking red bar in the main living space. Her curated collection of vintage and antique pieces—ranging from midcentury to Asian-inspired décor—gives the home a worldly, layered feel. A corridor lined with tea house-inspired doors leads to the bedrooms, adding an element of tranquility.
At first, the entryway feels intimate, but stepping further inside reveals a warm, expansive living area, where design and comfort coexist effortlessly. Meg’s home is a true reflection of her eclectic style, blending history, artistry, and global influences into one beautifully cohesive space.
