Artist Lia Burke Libaire’s Eclectic Tudor Home in Charleston
Artist and designer Lia Burke Libaire welcomes us inside her wonderfully eclectic 1917 home in Charleston.
With the charming quirks of an old house and an artful blend of modern and traditional elements, Lia’s space reflects her unique style. Antique brass-framed art pieces line the walls, and maritime artwork, adds character throughout. Lia’s love for mixing the old with the new is evident in every room, showcasing her classic, eclectic, and collected aesthetic.
Lia began her career in New York City, translating her love of art and architecture into the world of interior design where she worked for 12 years. After relocating to Charleston, she pursued her artistic craft full time and established her permanent studio. She is the co-founder and artist behind textile company Brier and Byrd.
