Inside a 712 Sq Ft Coastal New England-Inspired Apartment in Boston’s South End

We’re stepping inside the charming, New England-inspired apartment of chef and content creator Claudia Harrington and her boyfriend, Tyler Gershkoff, nestled in Boston’s historic South End.

Though just 712 square feet, this one-bedroom apartment feels anything but small. Claudia and Tyler have transformed the space into an inviting, airy retreat filled with timeless character. Touches of gold, marble, and black-and-white accents lend a sense of classic elegance, while nautical details—like vintage sailboat decor and keepsakes from Cape Cod—nod to Tyler’s love of fishing and Claudia’s affection for coastal New England charm.

Adding to the home’s cozy personality is their bunny, Piper—a free-roam rabbit who lives in the marble fireplace alcove and makes the space feel even more like home.

The kitchen, complete with marble countertops and traditional finishes, doubles as Claudia’s creative studio and the heart of their home. It’s where she tests recipes, shoots content, and shares her culinary creations with friends and followers. Together, the couple has built a space that’s not just stylish, but personal—a cozy haven for cooking, creating, and lingering over an espresso.
