Rooted in classic English style, the room celebrates craftsmanship, history, and refined comfort. Flood and her team curated a thoughtful mix of English antiques, championing their favorite craftsmen, workshops, and contemporary designers—many of whom were brought over from the U.K. specifically for the show.
An antique hand-knotted Persian rug and a 17th-century Flemish tapestry provide the foundation for the space, layered with a slipcovered roll-arm sofa, a leather spoonbill armchair from Soane Britain, and a Howard & Sons armchair in mossy green velvet. An ivory-lacquered coffee table by Colefax & Fowler, stacked with design books, anchors the seating area.
The result is a sophisticated drawing room that balances neoclassical influences and nineteenth-century charm with touches of Japanese ceramics and Chinoiserie lacquer—a masterclass in timeless British elegance brought to life in New York.
