As the summer months ramble on, we’re all about dining al fresco among the sunshine. And we’ve picked up some stunning outdoor tablescape inspo from influencers and tastemakers who know how to do it right.
Los-Angeles-based home goods retailer Olive Ateliers (@oliveateliers) is known for its curious and creative décor objects like vases, pots, candle holders, and benches. In a recent Instagram reel, which received over 2 million views, they revealed how they use their unique pieces to dress up a dining table. And the scene left us mesmerized.
Among a dreamy field of lavender sat a long, reclaimed wood dining table with small wood benches around it for seating.
Atop the table, there was a mix of materials that felt inviting, warm, and collected. Each place setting had a large wood charger, a bowl, a wine glass, and a linen napkin. There were candles and greenery dispersed along the table, and in the center was an arrangement of three ceramic vessels from the retailer.
As for another outdoor dining arrangement we’re swooning over, content creator Lucrezia Worthington (@lucreziaworthington) shared a video of her lunchtime set-up at her home in Florence.
Inside her roofed terrace sat a long wood table with ten iron chairs surrounding it. She kept the place settings simple: no mats or chargers, just mismatched green plates and blue water glasses, with a fork and knife on either side.
Along the center she had colorful fruits, a ceramic jug, and a loaf of bread which added an organic and casual feel to the Mediterranean landscape.
