Under $100: Outdoor Entertaining Must-Haves

Here at Homeworthy, we’re soaking up every second of these last weeks of summer – and there’s no better way to do that than spending time in our outdoor spaces. Hoping to spruce up those patios without breaking the bank, we’ve rounded up some of our must-haves that are under $100. From charming seating sets and durable serveware, to lighting that elevates the mood of your al fresco dinner, we’ll help you affordably yet stylishly set the scene for your next garden gathering.

Rattan Bistro Set

First up on our list is this 3-piece outdoor rattan bistro set from Amazon. Currently on sale for $99.99, it’s a deal that had us immediately click add to cart. The chairs, with water-proof cushions and a water-proof base, and the table, with a tempered glass top, are sturdy enough to be kept outside all season. Their minimalist design also means they will seamlessly mix into both modern or more layered backdrops.

Mushroom Side Table

If you just need a couple accent pieces to complete your patio and make it more conducive to hosting, a side table will do the trick. And we’re loving this Amazon $89 neutral one. Meant to mimic the shape of an overgrown mushroom, it feels like a part of nature that will harmoniously integrate into the rest of the garden. It’s also lightweight, making it easy to move from one seating vignette to another, and is easy to clean.

Marble Wine Chiller

As for smaller décor items, we’re eyeing this marble wine chiller from CB2. With a textured, heavy finish, we imagine it instantly elevating our tablescape or bar set up. Not only does it serve the obvious purpose of keeping our grape crisp, but it also feels like a sculptural art piece in and of itself. Pro tip: it makes for the perfect hostess gift too!

Outdoor Serveware

Besides a bit of wine, it isn’t an outdoor gathering without some hors d’oeuvres – and we found an aesthetic way to present them. West Elm’s Melamine Outdoor Serveware, on sale for $52, is modern and neutral, meaning it can fit beautifully in any setting. We’re imagining a bit of cold tzatziki in the middle with some fresh veggies for dipping.

Cordless Table Lamps

We’ve saved our favorite item for the end of the list, but it’s something we just can’t live without now that we’ve discovered it: the wireless table lamp. As you’ve noticed in many of our Homeworthy episodes, we’re more into mood lighting than heavy overheads – and charming lamps are the best way to set a vibe. Without access to outlets, cordless ones are a must for outside settings. We love these $50 sleek and simple gold ones that will blend with any décor.
