A Beautiful Home in Provence Defined by Collected Antiques and Italian Charm

For nearly four decades, antiques dealer and interior designer Enrica Stabile has carefully restored and shaped this Provençal farmhouse into a gathering place for four children, four grandchildren, and generations of family memories.

Located between Aix-en-Provence and Avignon, the French country home is filled with pieces collected over a lifetime—from 155 individually sourced Victorian tiles in the kitchen to Swedish painted furniture, Murano glass chandeliers, antique portraits, and treasured family heirlooms.

Each room follows its own color story, with a pink-and-blue sitting room, botanical-inspired bedrooms, and a winter garden transformed into a luminous guest retreat.

Outside, Enrica’s passion for gardening is on full display in a landscape of old roses, olive trees, cypress-lined paths, and a shaded courtyard anchored by two towering plane trees.

Throughout the home, her eye for antiques is balanced by a deeply personal approach to decorating, where collections, inherited pieces, and everyday family life coexist with ease. The result is a house shaped as much by memory and persistence as by design—a place Enrica describes as the foundation of her well-being and the center of her family’s life in Provence.
