A Maximalist Georgian Home Filled With Family Heirlooms & Art
Interior designer Lisa Sokol has loved her 1908 Georgian home in Baltimore since she was a child, when she would walk past the house and wonder what life was like inside. Years later, she and her husband found themselves back at the doorstep of the home she had always admired—and instantly knew it was the right place for their blended family.
Now, the home is a vibrant reflection of Lisa’s maximalist design style, layered with bold color, patterned textiles, antiques, and an extensive collection of art, much of it inherited from her parents and grandfather, who was an artist himself.
From a lavender lacquered living room and deep teal library to a family-friendly sunroom and an office filled with design samples, every space combines pieces collected over decades with the things that make their family feel at home.
