A Serene East Hampton Home Designed for Comfort & Entertaining

We’re traveling to East Hampton, New York, to visit the serene home of Carol Han Pyle, founder and CEO of Nette, a line of clean candles and fragrances.

Surrounded by lush greenery, Carol and her husband fell in love with this home for its peaceful setting and potential. After living in it for a year, they transformed the dated ’90s design into a space that reflects their family’s style—layering cozy details like a welcoming library in the entry, a light-filled living room framed by grand windows, and a thoughtful mix of vintage treasures with luxurious textiles.

Carol’s connection to scent runs deep—her earliest memories are of watching her mother hand-dip and carve colorful candles in her shop in Sausalito. That inspiration led her to create Nette, where each luxurious fragrance is designed to set the tone of a welcoming home with clean formulas.
