Vintage expert and collector Brian Hickman, co-founder of One Good Eye Vintage, invites us into his character-filled 1925 cottage nestled in a historic neighborhood of Long Beach, CA.

Brian has spent years curating a home that’s a true reflection of his philosophy: a beautiful space doesn’t take money, it takes time. Over 99% of the items in Brian’s home are vintage—sourced from flea markets, antique shops, and thrift stores over the years. The result is a warm, deeply personal haven where every object has meaning and a story behind how he acquired it. He’s also preserved nearly all of the home’s original 1920s details, layering in his finds to enhance the cottage’s charm while honoring its roots.
