Right now, dinner party dreams are just that: dreams. But Homeworthy is here to make them a reality – at least, without any guests. We’ve asked an eclectic mix of notables to set the table they wish they could invite people to and share all the details for our series, “Set The Table With…” This week we’re featuring Stephanie Nass who is New York City’s ultimate hostess! She also has her own line of tabletop decor like these festive wreath napkins and how about this pretty tartan tablecloth?
HOMEWORTHY: What was your inspiration for this tablescape?
STEPHANIE NASS: My earliest association with this white stewart plaid is an old scarf from the now closed Best & Co., children’s store on Greenwich Avenue. I wanted to create a matchimalist tablescape around this beloved print. (Note: the linens and candles are part of Stephanie’s line!)

HOMEWORTHY: How many places did you set for this dinner and why?
SN: We’re being vigilant about gathering only small groups because of the Covid regulations. This table is set for 8, and if I had my druthers I would invite friends whom I haven’t seen since before the spring lockdown.
HOMEWORTHY: Do you envision a certain music playlist for this meal?
SN: Classical music. Tchaikovsky …
