Designer Tamara, founder of Indian Pink, gives us a joyful tour of her colorful personal closet and adjoining studio inside her 120-year-old historic home in Montecito, California.
Lined with century-old antique Suzani textiles, Kantha cloth made from recycled saris, prized Indian block print fabric, and a growing reproduction fabric line made in partnership with artisans in India, the space also showcases Tamara's own handmade dresses sewn from vintage textiles collected on layovers around the world — proof that a closet can be every bit as creative as a design studio.
