A Grand Houston Mansion Revived with Old-World Charm and Modern Luxury

We're in Houston, stepping inside the grand and storied home of interior decorator Suzanne Duin.

Designed by renowned architect Birdsall Briscoe, this historic residence was in serious disrepair—until Suzanne took on this ambitious renovation from top to bottom. With vision and passion, she breathed new life into the decaying mansion, preserving its legacy while making it her own.

A seasoned antiques dealer and founder of Maison Maison Design, Suzanne has filled the home with treasures sourced from across Europe—each piece adding a layer of texture, history, and global panache.

Blending old-world elegance with luxurious modern upgrades (think discreet ceiling speakers and a smart oven), Suzanne has created a home that feels richly pedigreed yet entirely livable. It's a masterclass in timeless design with a contemporary twist.
