A San Francisco Home Full of Meaningful Art & Eclectic Style

We’re stepping inside the eclectic, treasure-filled home of Annie Reagan in Sausalito, California.

When Annie and her husband were ready to buy their first home, they looked across the bay from San Francisco to the charming, waterfront town of Sausalito. While her original design vision leaned toward midcentury minimalism, Annie quickly discovered that maximalist design better reflected her personal style. As she began decorating, the home evolved into a layered, colorful space filled with eclectic, conversation-starting art—like a mug shot of her father-in-law from his days as an undercover FBI agent.

The house is full of collected treasures, including an Hermès plate from Annie’s sister and a harmonica once played by Van Morrison—gifted to her husband, who’s a studio musician. While curating a sophisticated, adult-friendly space, Annie also made sure her daughters felt at home. Throughout the house, she’s created kid-friendly, imaginative areas just for them. The result is a laid-back, welcoming retreat that perfectly embodies California cool.
