A Whimsical 1899 Beach Cottage in Canada

Interior designer and content creator Krista Wells welcomes us inside her thoughtfully restored 1899 cottage in Bonavista, Newfoundland. After discovering the home by chance, Krista and her husband undertook a complete restoration, rebuilding it from the studs while preserving its historic character.

Today, the home blends traditional Newfoundland architecture with Krista's layered design aesthetic through custom millwork, vintage finds, locally made artwork, and meaningful DIY projects.
