An Artist’s European-Inspired Nashville Home

We’re in Nashville, Tennessee, visiting the bright, art-filled, and thoughtfully curated family home of artist and designer, Kelley Estes.

Kelley and her family have lived in this home for over 30 years. As the family grew, the house evolved with them, with the addition of a spacious kitchen, an upstairs bedroom, and a stunning, verdant garden that now showcase some of Kelley’s sculptural work. A multidisciplinary painter and sculptor, Kelley treats every room as a canvas, layering her home with meaning, creativity, and an unmistakable artistic voice.

Inspired by European design, her interiors are a striking blend of old and new, combining bold modern pieces with elegant French antiques, handcrafted ceramics, and locally made artisan furnishings. Most meaningfully, the home doubles as a living gallery, showcasing the creative talents of Kelley, her children, and her father.
