Genevieve Gorder’s Collected New York City Apartment
We’re in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, inside the home of interior designer and television host Genevieve Gorder.
Known for Trading Spaces, White House Christmas, and Genevieve’s Renovation, this was her most personal project — combining two separate apartments, one untouched for decades, into a single, layered home for herself and her daughter.
Throughout the home, Genevieve has collected family pieces and heirlooms that act as souvenirs of her life — objects tied to her ancestors, memories, and the places she comes from.
Alongside those are pieces connected to her television career — design moments and objects that trace her journey on screen and the chapters that shaped her as a designer.
