Old World Charm Meets Modern European Elegance in This Utah Home

Carrie Harris welcomes us inside her beautiful Utah home alongside her sister, interior designer Jen Dean of Jede Interiors. Together, the sisters transformed the once-dark property into a warm, European-inspired family home that blends old world charm with modern design.

Drawn to the timeless character of European interiors, Carrie and Jen incorporated aged limestone, textured plaster walls, vintage rugs, warm wood finishes, and beautiful marble throughout the extensive renovation. From the grand entryway and cozy formal living room to the spacious kitchen with double islands, every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a home that feels both elegant and welcoming.

Designed with family and entertaining in mind, the home features inviting gathering spaces, a light-filled great room that opens to the outdoors, and a playful wing complete with a game room, indoor basketball court, and rock climbing wall. For Carrie, the most meaningful part of the home is having a place where her family and friends can come together and make lasting memories. Enjoy!
