Interior designer Emily Tucker’s Colorado mountain retreat is a joyful mix of color, pattern and vintage treasures. Known affectionately as Camp Grizz, the eight-acre getaway sits on the edge of the National Forest near Boulder, surrounded by pine trees, aspens and abundant wildlife.

Designed as a family escape, the cabin is filled with character at every turn, from its purple kitchen and cherry-red bunk room to a bedroom wrapped in patchwork grasscloth wallpaper. Emily has layered in Danish and Swedish antiques, traditional textiles, collected art and ceramics she has made herself, creating a home that feels both playful and deeply personal.

Outside the main house, a tiny converted cabin known as the Rock House offers a rustic retreat with a sleeping loft overlooking the Continental Divide. For Emily, the property is ultimately about creating a place for family and friends to gather, unwind and make memories in the mountains.
