English Charm Meets Italian Soul in This Thoughtful London Home

We’re in London, stepping inside the serene, Italian-inspired Victorian home of graphic designer and content creator Martina Casonato.

For Martina, the pantry is the soul of the home. Framed by French café doors and brimming with jars of honey, teas, grains, and jams, it offers a still-life moment of beauty in her showstopping kitchen. From where she stands at the island, she looks out onto a rustic brick wall—a detail that reminds her of her roots in Veneto, Italy. Both the pantry and that view inspired her Instagram account, @thevenetianpantry, where she shares ideas on food, travel, and interiors.

Blending English charm with Italian soul, the home is a thoughtful mix of her and her husband’s origins. Café curtains made by an Italian seamstress mingle with English textiles. Victorian antiques are softened by graceful, Italian-inspired arches.

After Martina takes us through her home, we’ll return to the kitchen, where she’ll show us how to make a super simple and delicious zucchini crostini, perfect for summer entertaining.

With its balance of vintage and modern, curated and personal, this home is a true reflection of Martina’s taste and story.
