Today, we’re in Montreal visiting the gorgeous home of content creator and designer Tamara Anka, the creative mind behind @citrineliving.

Fifteen years ago, Tamara and her husband built this house with the intention of flipping it. But what began as a project soon became the home where they raised their children and where Tamara launched her thriving design and content business.

Despite being a new build, Tamara’s home exudes warmth and timeless character. A passionate DIYer, she has layered in moldings, wallpaper, and custom details that bring a rich, traditional sensibility. Throughout, you’ll also find nods to Chinoiserie and Chippendale design, along with classic details.

Her style draws inspiration from European elegance, East Coast refinement, and breezy coastal living. Blue-and-white vases, ginger jars, and vibrant green accents infuse the spaces with an airy atmosphere and sense of cohesion, creating a home that feels both curated and inviting.
