A Beautifully Restored Texas Home with Traditional Interiors
Step inside the charming 1930s home of interior designer Minnette Jackson in Houston, Texas, where classic design meets thoughtful restoration.
After a whirlwind move from Nashville, Minnette embraced the challenge of transforming an underwhelming space into a warm and timeless home. With a striking turret at the front, a nod to Tudor architecture, the house had undeniable potential, and over the past seven years, she and her family have lovingly restored many of its original details.
Minnette’s design style is rooted in tradition, featuring antique chests, elegant artwork, and vintage chinoiserie wallpaper panels that add depth and character. She gravitates toward a palette of dusty blues and greens, considering green a neutral that effortlessly connects the home to nature. The result is a space that feels bold yet refined—an exquisite blend of history, color, and collected beauty. Join us for a tour of Minnette Jackson’s thoughtfully curated home, where every detail tells a story.
